Regents' External Relations Committee to Meet January 18 at College Park

The Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ (USM) Board of Regents' Committee on External Relations will meet in public session on Friday, January 18 at 9:30 a.m. in Critique Hall in the Plant Sciences Building at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP).

The Committee will consider several agenda items, including:

  • Board of Regents policy on the use of foundation and alumni association funds to pay USM employees for fundraising work
  • Status report on USM technology parks at UMCP and Frostburg State University, and a presentation on a feasibility study for a proposed technology incubator at the University of Maryland, Baltimore
  • Status report on the USM fundraising campaign
  • Plans for retirement gala for USM Chancellor Donald N. Langenberg
  • Preparation for 2002 Maryland General Assembly
